I love this recipe because it’s quick and easy to prep and put going in the crock pot. This recipe doesn’t have a thick teriyaki sauce, but all the delicious flavors marinade into the chicken while cooking.

Another thing I like about this recipe is that you don’t have to thaw your chicken first. I use frozen chicken tenders and put them right into the crock pot with the sauce.

You can serve this chicken over rice, but my husband is not a huge fan of rice, so I usually make some oven roasted potatoes or potato salad to go with it.

This is a great recipe to put going in the morning and let it cook all day while you are at work, or if you know you are going to have a busy day. It’s also great to have cooking in the crock pot on a hot day when you don’t want to heat up the house.

Crock Pot Teriyaki Chicken

Teriyaki chicken that's quick and easy to prep and throw in the crock pot.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 lbs chicken
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp ginger
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • 1/4 cup olive oil extra virgin
  • 1/2 cup pineapple juice

Method
 

  1. Place chicken in crock pot. You can use frozen chicken tenders or chicken breasts.
  2. Mix sauces and spices together and pour over chicken in crock pot.
  3. Cook on low for 8 hours.
