I am an iced coffee drinker most of the time. Hot coffee just doesn’t taste as good to me. As a mom of young kids, I also get distracted easily and hot coffee gets cold faster than I can drink it. I will make an exception for a peppermint white mocha though. A well known coffee shop makes a delicious peppermint white mocha that I love to get around Christmas time and all winter long. I definitely had to learn to make it at home.
How to make a peppermint white mocha
A peppermint white mocha is fairly easy to make and requires only a few ingredients. You will need your favorite coffee, milk, white chocolate powder and peppermint syrup. For a little extra treat you can add a little whipped cream and crushed peppermint on top.
I prefer the taste of classic peppermint syrup, but I did try some sugar free peppermint syrup that is actually not too bad. You can also make your peppermint white mocha with non-fat milk for a healthier option.
This drink tastes great iced as well. If you love iced white mochas check out my post:
