Baked Macaroni and Cheese

Macaroni and cheese that's baked in the oven with a buttery cracker crust.

Ingredients
  

  • 16 oz macaroni noodles
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 tbsp butter melted
  • 1-2 cups crushed Ritz crackers

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Cook pasta for 8 minutes or according to package directions. Drain and rinse with cold water.
  • Meanwhile, mix eggs, milk and salt together in a large bowl.
  • Add shredded cheese and cooked pasta.
  • Pour mixture into a greased 9 x 13 pan.
  • Top with melted butter and crushed crackers.
  • Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until milk is absorbed.
  • Take out of oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
